Al-Fātiḥa
When the servant dies, his deeds are cut off from him, except for three: a continuous charity, a knowledge (left behind) from which benefit is derived, and a righteous child who prays for him.”
— Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ
(Excerpt from al-Adab al-Mufrad, No. 38)
Please take a moment to read Sura al-Fātiḥa with the intention of dedicating the reward of this recitation to the deceased – and to all deceased Muslims.
For the deceased, we can do nothing more than make Duʿāʾ and give Sadaqa. Many people have passed away from this world without any surviving relatives, without anyone to remember them or pray for them.
If you are already here, do not leave without leaving something behind:
a Fātiḥa, a supplication, a good deed.
May Allah accept it and benefit the deceased.
